Luke Darth is a rapper/singer songwriter, originally from a small crossroads village at the base of Mt Taranaki, New Zealand. He began writing songs as an escape from reality at age 12, after discovering his passion for rap music. His debut single “Star crossed”, is a chilling performance about a toxic romance wrought with passion despite its proleptic doom. Inspired by art, fashion, ballet, musicals and film it’s fair to say Luke’s style is diverse and captivating. “The Cosmonaut” will be Luke’s debut album, an introduction to what he considers the first voyage into space and time. With each song being inspired by different genres from another era. “In artistic creation, I believe vulnerability is paramount, bleed for your art and it will bleed for you”.
