Luke J Holland a Lake Macquarie N.S.W Singer/Songwriters’ first single “Spark” is an apt autobiographical song that speaks of the journey of a shy/reluctant performer no longer able to contain self expression and the desire to share it When asked to describe his music Luke says “I’ve been writing for a couple of decades and consider my music a love letter to my music inspirations of the 50’s like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison. I spent a lot of years experimenting with different genres, but recently hearing Orville Peck, I applied something of where he was coming from as a Country Artist to my work and my songs, for the first time, feel like they have found the genre they belong in” Luke is set to Star in an Independent feature film “Sunday…..” which is the story of his journey as a single father and singer/songwriter. Recently supporting the Screaming Jets in a solo show Luke is building a band around himself to take on the Australian and International Country Music Festivals
