Growing up listening to his father’s old Marvin Gaye, Roberta Kelly and Diana Ross records - Sydney born and raised music producer, lukehart aka Luke Helmich fell in love with authentic soul, and was mesmerised by the romantic subject matter and emotional vocal delivery. Luke’s early love for soul ultimately influenced his sound, creating music infused with RnB/Soul while using his technical capabilities to add an electronic twist. Utilising the voices of other artists, mixed with his off-beat yet danceable instrumentals, lukehart is able to create passionate stories of energetic romance and heartbreak, encapsulating elements of soul that carry the same energy as tracks from artists such as Kaytranada, The Internet and Jazmine Sullivan.
