Edit history

Lunar Calm is predominantly based in Sydney's Bondi. The band formed in 2007, but didn't find the right vocalist until 2009. After this the band spent 12 months preparing its first live set and started gigging around Sydney earlier this year, while simultaneously working on a self-produced 5 track demo. While already writing music we believe in very passionately, it feels like this is only just beginning. Our aim is to write music that is original, impactful, beautiful, dynamic but still accessible to a wide audience. Our belief is that if we can expose our music to enough people, hard work, potential and the love of music will take care of the rest. After some great shows already, including Bondi's Beach Road Hotel, exposing our music in a live format to as many people as possible is our next major short-term goal, along with winning this competition.
