From a small town in Northern NSW, Lydia Jack hit streaming platforms in November of 2019 with her catchy, honest and self deprecating first single "Again". The reflective and jovial track written about poor choices made in her early twenties makes for both a lyrically sombre and melodically uplifting, celebratory song. Lydia taught herself guitar at 23 and moved to London a year later to gig and write songs, but the experience of being ill-equipped paired with poor health and homesickness saw her put the pen down and not write music for a few years. She credits her hometown, dogs and endless hours on Spotify for reigniting her love of songwriting. Her debut EP "Aftershock", a mixture of heart break, acceptance and defiance. Lydia is lyrically insightful, strong and clever. She has an ability to tell her own stories while ensuring they are universally accessible and relatable.
