Some say a band isn’t complete without a banjo. Others dispute this, but Lynne Moloney and the Teacher’s Pets don’t care, wearing their banjo hearts on their sleeves, and boasting two twangy bluegrass beauties. Witty ballads, humorous ditties, bent Elvis covers and, you guessed it, fiery banjo instrumentals make your belly laugh and your toes tap. Vocalist Lynne Moloney with her ‘Teacher’s Pets’, Jon Clegg (guitar, banjo), Keith Prest (guitar, banjo, mandolin) and Geoff Kilminster (up-right bass),would love to launch their second CD at PFFF 2018. Crowd favourites ‘Are You from Mortlake’ and ‘Mother of a Teenage Daughter’ captivate new comers and stalwarts alike. Prepare for fun, fiery acoustic folk/bluegrass.
