The styles and moods of Mack Sem (Max M Richter) span from acoustica and cinematic-ambient to soul-groove and electronica. Compositions are through (i) multitrack looping (no samples) (ii) songwriting on folk guitar (iii) 'world/avant-garde' classical guitar playing & (iv) jamming with others. All albums here so far are (i), i.e., multitrack looping. The alias is a nod to my mother & Scotland.
