Maddie Lucy is a Melbourne based singer/songwriter. Having grown up in classical music, her technical training, combined with her ultimate passion for folk music has lead her to create a style that blends her uniquely trained vocals, with her talent for storytelling. Moving from classical towards folk/pop music, her inspiration comes from the likes of Tori Amos, Damien Rice, First Aid Kit, Vance Joy, Imogen Heap, Florence and the Machine, Stevie Nicks, Joy Williams, and many more. Her strong tone mixed with moments of breathy, vulnerability, and subtle vocal tremors, create a variety of colours, which beautifully assist in evoking a feeling of compassion and empathy from her listeners.
