There are certain songs you listen to that give you goosebumps, that stay in your head hours after you've heard it, that make a difference in peoples lives. Maddie McHugh desires to emulate that magic with her warm lyrics and stripped back sounds. From 20's Jazz to 80's pop to 00's rock, Maddie McHugh is equipped with a love of songs that influence her sound and showcase her warm soprano and instantly noticeable charisma. After taking up piano at age 10, Maddie instantly became addicted to the complexity and timbre of the instrument, later choosing at 14 to extend her musical talent to singing and playing guitar. Now being 17 she is starting to explore the complexities of music in deeper theory studies and is experimenting with her own compositions. With Sarah Blasko, Little Birdy, and MS MR being predominant influences, her own sounds are a combination of acoustic techniques, carefree vocals and various percussion.
