Melbourne based singer-songwriter, Maddy Petch, explores the transparency of human truths and life as we know it with a brazen voice, broad chords and soaring melodies. With figures such as Matt Corby, Angie McMahon and Ainslie Wills being the soundtrack of her youth, she creates a passion born fusion between indie-pop and neo-soul. As a recipient of the 2019 Popakademie Songwriters Scholarship Program, an impromptu year-long hiatus in London between studies, birthed a newfound mantra that sparked the music heard from Petch today. She hopes to spend life experiencing, learning and creating in any and all ways possible, and to share this with all those willing. A vessel reaching and touching souls, spirits and hearts worldwide, Maddy Petch takes the spirits of those she meets with her music in her stride.
