Madelaine Vallin is a Swedish-Australian artist whose work explores the relationship between sound, nature, creativity and connection. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian landscapes and Nordic traditions, she creates atmospheric, cinematic music that brings together voice, sound and the natural world. Her current project, JORDIC, is a six-part Nordic sound series created in partnership with tree biofeedback recordings gathered in Sweden. Each release is inspired by a different tree and explores a guiding principle of Nordic Mindfulness™, including balance, resilience, adaptability, integration, simplicity and synergy. Madelaine has been a singer-songwriter and recording artist since her teens, previously releasing three albums under the artist name Mirva. JORDIC marks her return to recording, bringing together her Swedish heritage, creative background and evolving exploration of humanity’s relationship with the natural world.
