I am a music teacher, live music lover, musician and novice (closet) music producer/songwriter! My #DIYSupergroup entry is called 'We Better Run' and features The Jungle Giants, Flume, G Flip and Amy Shark. The song was inspired by the recent COVID-19 memes about being careful who you take home after a night out...a one night stand could result in being stuck with someone for a lot longer than planned! You definitely wouldn't want to be stuck with the girl in this song...as the Avalanches would say, she's 'crazy in the coconut'! The song was created on GarageBand, I played onto tracks using the keyboard on my laptop and the vocals were recorded using the headphones that came with my iPhone! It has been a DIY labour of love and I hope you enjoy it! Love, Maggie x
