Crafting harmonies at the intersection of art and science, MAGNETS is the solo project of multi-disciplinary, Siobhan McGinnity. Trained as a pianist from the age of 7, raised on the harmonies of Enya and raw energy of Hole. Moving from Australian town to town, as disparate as Karratha to Christmas Island, it wasn’t until Siobhan settled in Melbourne/Naarm that Siobhan's passion for indie-pop took root. With support from Creative Victoria and production by ARIA nominee, Terry Mann, new music is on the horizon for MAGNETS. Characterised by textural layers, chorus pedals and driving rhythm, each work promises a healthy dose of dopamine and nostalgia.

Even though Magnets only consists of two core writers Scott Gellatly and Daniel Newstead (Omega Child Productions), their combination of Dance/Electronic Rock is a sound that is far from empty.
