3 PIECE GARAGE PUNK/POWER POP/INDIE WHATEVER SONIC KRAUTROCK SLUDGEHOP FROM BRISBANE. PEOPLE HAVE SAID THE FOLLOWING ABOUT US: "The crowd pleaded for an encore, but Makeout Creek were having none of it and left them wanting more. For me, they were the pick of the bands and a cool new Brisbane band to discover." - https://stairs2nowhere.wordpress.com "Makeout Creek will be the soundtrack next time I decide to piss off my room mates with, and I quote, "that horrible American noise you love!" (I'm living in Italy so Anglo culture has a bloblike sameness to them, I think)." - http://drugpunk.blogspot.com.au "MAKEOUT CREEK are a power trio of some unnameable punk subgenre born of black armband Brisbania. They attract a small hard core of dedicated slam dancers who flail around right in front of them like they're Black Flag playing D.C. in '82." - http://www.4zzzfm.org.au BUT DON'T TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT. LISTEN TO US. SEE US. THIS BAND IS STRESS RELIEF. YOU ARE MY STRESS BALL.
