Melbourne Australia's Extreme Metal act Mammon's Throne cast aside the restrictive chains of genre with their sonic alchemy of all things dark and heavy. Haunting mournful melodies meet crushing death grooves before taking flight in searing blackened crescendos whilst roaring, growling bass lurks beneath, all backed by a furious drumming assault. At the forefront are a chilling and diverse range of vocal styles ranging from mournful laments to cavernous growls and banshee shrieks. The band is adept at captivating the audience as they conjure up a palpable atmosphere with each song taking on a theatrical, narrative quality that leaves any onlookers fully engrossed. After relentless gigging and the success of their 2020 debut album “Forward Unto Flame”, released through Black Farm Records, France, Mammon's Throne have established themselves as a force to be reckoned within the Australian live music scene. They then followed this up with an epic offering of extreme doom on their self-titled release in 2023. This album released through Brilliant Emperor saw the band fully embrace the death-doom and black metal aspects of their sound and was met with great admiration by listeners and reviewers. On the back of the strength of their live performances and respect within the local music community, the band has supported multiple international touring acts such as Pallbearer, Conan, Triumph of Death, Rotting Christ and Midnight to name a few. They were also picked as direct support for doom legends My Dying Bride on their first ever Australian tour and are set to support Swallow the Sun in early 2026. The band has now set its sights on stages abroad in order to bring their highly engaging live shows to new converts and kicked this off with a greatly successful tour of Japan. Mammon's Throne have signed with Hammerheart Records to release their 3rd album, 'My Body to the Worms', which is releasing in March 2026 Mammon's Throne is: Matthew Miller (Vocals), Amesh Perera (Lead Guitar), Johnny Chammas (Rhythm Guitar), Sam Talbot-Canon (Bass) & Nick Boschan (Drums)
