Mandelray is a side project of Australian musician & producer Robert Chomicz. Combining downtempo, cinematic, ambient, and electronica sounds and styles into a new collage of music that is mixed and broken down with exotic beats and audio textures. The music can often jump geographic and stylistic boundaries with influences of world roots instrumentation spilling over from one of Robert's other music projects, GAVRI. Based in the east coast Australian city of Gold Coast, Mandelray is predominately a solo effort with occasional guest artists supplying extraordinary vocals and additional instrumentation. A masterful merge of modern technology and live performances. Mandelray is also the conduit that allows some of the back catalog of music and audio experimentation that Robert has produced to be finally released, demonstrating an evolution of one artist's work and his influences.
