Mandemaker are a four piece punk band from the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. The band formed in mid 2017, composed of Lead singer/rhythm guitarist Dusty Read, lead guitarist Ash Paine, Bass guitarist Rogan Cheeseman and Drummer Sam Perry. Mandemaker are known for their embittered explorations of suburban Adelaide culture, working class life, and socio-political issues of a Post-Howard Australia. Greatly inspired by jangle pop, power pop and punk rock, sonically Mandemaker have been described as equal parts The Triffids, Big Star and Social Distortion. Armed with rough emotional grit and no bullshit rock n roll Mandemaker are poised to make serious noise in the near future.
