MANGO STONE were formed in early 2006. It all began in the garage of a friends house, a group of friends just wanting to play music for fun. Our goal was to blend the musical influences we had grown up with to create a loud, raucous, yet melodic mix that we could call our own. The result is a range of songs in the tradition of ‘Australian Pub Rock’, a style that has been a strong influence on all of the band. MANGO STONES style infuses power with enthusiasm to produce our own unique home grown sound. The bands desire is to play music that encourages all to participate and have a good time. In the true spirit of 'Aussie Rock' we view the band and the audience as one in the same, our stage and microphone is yours and together we will celebrate.
