Pete, Joe and Jackson formed Manners two or three summers ago in the hot swamps of North Brisbane. The guys are friends from high school and have been playing together for years; they went through their metal phases together and have now come out the other side with their own musical patch somewhere in the broad expanse of indie rock. Manners' music ranges from a catchy bouncy sound to face-melting riffage, with post-rock jams, psychedelic wanderings and silky vocal harmonies popping up the way through. Playing regularly around town now and honing their chops for the stage, Manners are a show to look out for and a band whose music will stay with you.

They are old mates, and have been playing together for a long time. His set up is confusing, yet his playing is elegantly uncomplicated. Along with his guitar he also acceses synths, harmonica, beats, samples. Travis Cotton is the
