Manorism is an indie dream pop and heartland outfit hailing from suburbia in Melbourne (Naarm), Australia. Having played in different arrangements together since early adolescence, the band is a realisation of years of exploration. As a collective of first and second generation immigrants, a shared story of self discovery defines their introspective artistry. Influences from early 2000’s punk through to the 2010’s indie rock new wave revival converge to create Manorism’s rich sonic approach. Having cut their teeth in Melbourne’s coveted underground scene, the group’s new material aims to explore the challenges and opportunities of being a counterweight to creative expectations of those from diverse backgrounds.
