Bio history
Hailing from the south-west of New South Wales in the moderately sized city of Wagga Wagga, listening to fleek beats, sipping on cappuccinos and beers.
MAPLE is a singer song writer from Brisbane, Australia, currently writing, practicing and rehearsing for plans to release an album in July next year. Last year, just before completing the Bachelor of Popular Music at the Griffith Gold Coast Conservatorium, Maple recorded his debut 5-track EP in Chinese (Mandarin), lyrics co-written with Tom Sun (孙新雨) and produced by Jared Adlam (NZ). This foolhardy endeavour, followed by a 5 month glance of China, has led this young man to focus on what is his truest form of communication; music. It only takes one listen through this gorgeous bunch of songs to know he is headed some place different. "Maple … strives for an ancient mind in a techno-riddled world." Maple's debut EP, The Beginning, is a fascinating listen, combining both English and Chinese to express an idea of what is to come. His voice, smooth like Jeff Buckley after a fine whiskey with melodies just as sweet. This is an artist to watch out for, as his story is yet unfinished
A young duo from the Byron Shire. They have grown up in the Northern Rivers, and have been performing a variety of Original songs and covers as MAPLE since late 2015. Using their Ukulele Bridget, 17 and Monica Brandolini, 14, write their own music filled with flowery harmonies and unique melodies. They have a mellow/folky sound, creating a wholesome and warm resonance with the audience. Inspired by their ever evolving young life experiences, they will continue to write music about the world from their own perception and continue to thought provoke the listener and their ideals.
