Born and raised in Cairns, Australia, Marcus Cappellazzo has been entertaining since his primary school years. His love and passion for music drove him to become the star performer in several musicals and original bands. To accompany his alternative vocals, Marcus plays guitar, drums, and saxophone, which lead to his first professional gig at the age of sixteen. In 2005, Marcus toured with an original band called Lexis Curfew. For two years they played in schools and venues throughout Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. The band had the support of RADD and iTunes while doing a school rock tour. Lexis Curfew soared the charts making them the top third most downloaded album in Australia on iTunes. Exploring his solo career, Marcus currently uses his vocals, a guitar, loop station, harmonizer pedal, and an electric kick drum with kick, share, crash and high hat pedals that are triggered with his feet.
