I'm an Aussie born singer/songwriter. I fell in love with the acoustic guitar particularly listening to my dads' folk music from the 60's and 70's. I bought my first guitar about 15 years ago and have been playing ever since. Grunge had a pretty big impact on me growing up as it seemed to bring the honesty of folk music with the raw distorted electric guitar anger of adolescence. Somewhere in these influences sits my musical style. Shortly after meeting my wife to be, she convinced me to record some of my music, I have been writing and recording ever since. I make music because I love to try to recreate the soundtracks in my head. My songs tend to come out of events that have a big impact on me i.e. my relationships, my family, my friends and my environment. I write because I guess it is kind of a therapy for me, I have no other motivation than to share this music and try not to go broke in the process.
