Marguerite Montes has been performing both here in Australia and Overseas for most of her life. Born into a family of established musicians, Marguerite has absorbed the best of the many cultures she has been exposed to. She has worked with an eclectic bunch of musicians, dancers and in theatre productions; composing and performing for these. Antonio Vargas "La Casa de Bernarda Alba" and A UTS production of Blood Wedding, as well as other productions on the Mid North Coast. Marguerite Montes has written a score of Jingles in French, Spanish, Portuguese and Spanish for Curved Radio. An online international broadcast running out of 2SER with the inimitable Gayle Austin of Double Jay fame. She has self released three very different albums that have been reasonably well received within the community radio sector. In the last 18 months Marguerite has branched out into using loops, production, home recording and collaborating with other musicians. Marguerite Montes has been twice nominated for Sydney Fringe Festival 2019 'The Museum Of Fleas' Best Cabaret Show category and again in 2022 For The Fierce Violets best Spoken Word & Music Category. Marguerite Has performed at the Sacred Women's Voices Festival, 2022 and she is currently collaborating with a collective of Artists for an upcoming show,
