"That lyric was so good. I had to write it on my arm for later." - Glen Hansard (Oscar-winning songwriter) Mark Campbell crafts songs of love and loss, truth and beauty. The band released self-titled debut album late 2025. Recorded with ARIA-winning producer Jimi Maroudas (Tim Rogers, Kimbra, etc) it features Dave Williams (Augie March) on drums, Davey Lane (You Am I) on guitar, Kat Mear (Cash Savage) on violin, and Kylie Auldist on feature and backing vocals. Previously a key member of JJJ-darlings ‘Folding For Air’, and ‘Souls on Board,’ he has built a live “wall of sound” behind songs that “ooze honesty.” (Beat Mag) Accompanied by a horn and string section, the live band weave a rootsy blend of alt. country, rock, blues and folk that has seen them already support many great icons of music in Australia, including Ross McLennan (Snout), Henry Wagons and Sarah McLeod.
