For over 18 years, Mark Nunis (Honkytonk Piano Man) has been performing both locally and overseas as a singer, pianist and entertainer. He first learnt the organ from his grandfather before switching to the piano where he continued to develop a love of blues, jazz and boogie. Influenced by some of the great barrelhouse, jazz and boogie piano players such as Professor Longhair, Ray Charles and Jerry Lee Lewis, Mark has developed his own style of Honkytonk Piano playing, and has travelled around Australia, South East Asia and the UK.
