After over a decade of live performance and touring bands, i went into the studio solo. Aside from being fiercly independant i got over trying to organize and manage the many musians, ego's, pregnant girl friends and constant line up changes. Assuming my plans for world domination would fall into place if i went solo...(running with the theory if you want something done properly you have to do it yourself etc) I learned the hard way that there is no easy way...and i've since been recording my debut album for close to 4 years.instead of relying on players to show up at gigs on time and know their parts, now i rely on producers and studios to get my vision, not overcharge, not waste time, not stuff me around and make promises they cant keep, and finish the job.aaggh.
