Perth, it's the most isolated capital city in the world. Now get in a car and drive 5 hours south of that and you'll find a little town called Albany(it pretends it's a city but we all know it's not.) Inside this town lives Martin Shenfield, a 23 year old singer/songwriter. Having picked up bass at age 18 and continued on by teaching himself how to play guitar and sing, Martin has, with or without any support from family and friends, created his own musical style that blends simple folk guitar strumming with deep and oft-introspective lyrics, pop melodies, and the occasional dash of manly falsetto(ok it's not really manly). Martin Shenfield is an unusual guy trapped in a normal seaside town. Hopefully music is his ticket out.
