Hailing from the north western outskirts of Sydney, Martom consists of dummer Martin Atencio, bassist Christopher Modderno, and lead vocalist and guitarist Tomas Somera II. The trio met in high school back in 2008 and have been playing in different iterations of the band until they solidified the group in writing and recording their debut single 'LSD Chimpanzee'. The track was laid down in Mindfield Studios with Miles Devine of the band Raindrop. Tapping into their influences of Alt-J, Gus Dapperton, Jamie T, they created a groovy tune with an irresistible builds, and a rhythm to get your body moving. 'LSD Chimpanzee' will be released on the 4th of December.
