YOU CAN’T STOP ROCK Mary’s Lie Music Production Prelude A broken leg, a missing bass player, the strange new guy with a goatee and a guitar, a long haired dude with a car and some gear, and a bloke who can really sing shaped the early bond, soul and development of the Australian rock band that is Mary’s Lie. After a 10-year hiatus the powerful and energetic rock band are making up for lost time by hitting 2013 with a vengeance. Sell-out live shows, Secrets EP launch, music video release, support shows with some of Oz’s best-known/loved bands and a partnership with Volvo highlight the year so far. Heading back into the studio in 2014 Mary’s Lie show no signs of slowing down. The best is yet to come… Act 1 Band members - Ben Moffatt (lead vocals), Scott Bennett (bass), Matt Duggan (guitars/keyboards), Harrison Phillips (guitars), and Matt Gooley (drums) all met through twisted tales somewhere on the Central Coast in 1997 yet they all share the same passion and interest - music.
