Hey im Mason Guild, im currently studying a BA of Music at QUT in Brisbane. I first got my ear for music when i started playing the piano at the age of 7, completing my final exams in mid 2008. I also have my own students that i am giving piano lessons to at this current time. Due to the understanding of musical theory, i have been self-taught the guitar, and in the past 6 months i have developed my skills on the guitar as well as voice. I have written a collection of songs and have formed a band with two of my classmates in the past 2 months. Although we have not been together long, we have been booked for several gigs and shows, including an up and coming battle of the bands due to take place in late August. As for my solo career in music, i am writing new songs, music, and lyrics everyday, and am playing quite a number of regular gigs in various pups clubs and taverns over the Gold Coast. This has all been great experience for me and has given me the hunger to further my career
