The beginnings of Master Tiger trickled down in 2007 when two boys hailing from Sydney (Evan Guyatt, Daniel Waller) composed original tunes on acoustic guitars in the vein of blues, roots and folk. Over the years the music of Master Tiger has evolved with influence along with combined song-writing capabilities, vocal harmonies and greater compositions - the music has changed. Ditching the drum rolls and the hounding noise of bass and electric guitars – Master Tiger have carved itself out a sweeter alternative sound. The indie-folk stylings that are now sketched out have evolved with textured string arrangements, care of classically trained cellist Jo Bissett from England and violinist Danielle McGrane from Ireland. Further spices of banjo, harmonica and glockenspiel have additionally shaped Master Tiger’s warm and invigorating sound.
