Now Sydney-sider, Mat Verevis originally hails from Cairns, Queensland. Learning jazz piano from his father, classic songwriting has always been at the forefront of the music he loves and consumes, so it comes as no surprise that his debut EP has deep roots in the Singer-Songwriter genre with tips of the hat to such artists as John Mayer, Bill Wither and Norah Jones alike.
