Materia has rejected modernity but overshot tomorrow, unwittingly exchanging their guitars for lutes. Glam metal vocal tones unleash soaring melodies descending on a bed of 70s inspired rock. Syncopated riffs belted from mandolins and violins alike are framed by thunderous beats evoking echoes of hardcore drumming. Unorthodox and unapologetic, Materia heralds the end of the age of guitar.
