Mad P had been writing poems for some time, to scrape away the still-clinging, deadened bark, and his writing is at the core of Mathildes Destiny and the journey of fictitious characters Johnny and Mathilde. As a highly talented cellist, sitting under the gaze of famous conductors worldwide, he provides all string scorings, and main vocals. On the flip side, Son of J loves pop/rock music more than is probably good for him! He is a man of many talents, some hidden from the public’s attention, others played out in studios and backroom parties. Son of J’s knowledge of living/working pop combined with Mad P’s somewhat obsessive regard to details, texture and quest for a thicker ‘classical’ sound, has permitted Mathilde's Destiny to create what they call a collective-pop/rock sound - elements from the everywhere!
