Matilda Road has been around for about 2 years, we have previously played under the name ‘Second Time Around’. Forming this band in 2001 was Ferret, Greasy, Rat Boy and others. Gigs included: Rose ‘n’ Crown, Shark Bar, Boathouse Tavern The Black youlands Shit load of parties and other events all on the Gold Coast, Queensland. After losing members and gaining Mutties, Matilda road was formed, named and ready to rock. The name Matilda Road comes from the street name where we jam. We spent a few months in a bedroom studio recording an EP ourselves. Now ready and looking forward to start gigs again.
