I am a singer/songwriter from Melbourne Australia. You can catch me around town playing an acoustic/electric guitar running through one of my many alternative/brooding/emotive original pieces with a deep resonant vocal that many have said to me has reminded them of early David Bowie and Tom Waits vocal arrangements. I also have a website with tons of music, video, pics and info that your welcome to checkout www.mattmcfarlane.com

Matt grew up on a farm on the outer northern region of Melbourne. A keen footballer until he was 18, Matt was sidelined after an ankle injury, So he took up the guitar and learnt to sing! His music reflects a love of telling simple stories through song. Influenced by artists like Jack Johnson and Lior, Matts music is his refuge. He hopes you enjoy!
