Matt Stranger was born in the north of England (Sheffield) and permanently moved to Australia three years ago. From the age of 15, he has played in several grunge, garage rock, and indie rock bands - some of which became household names in the Sheffield live music scene. Since becoming an Australian resident, he decided to tone the distortion pedal down and has adopted a more subtle, yet emotive sound in his solo work.
