So it began in a house, no! a room. Why not? That's more specific. A room with doors and windows, a fireplace and mantel piece, heavy curtains, outdated wallpaper and an old piano with a broken sustain. Every weekend we would go to this room in my friend's house and play music. We played the best we could with what we had. We tried to cover old punk songs and recorded anything we had written onto a computer with a tiny microphone and showed it to our friends. We borrowed instruments and equipment off siblings, friends, relatives, whoever we could get it off. We had no money, no cars, no jobs, no girlfriends, nothing. They were simpler times. But things change. Life goes on. Where there was once a sapling now stands a tree. Romanticism isn't dead, it's just sleeping. So wake up! and get yourself out of bed, it's nearly eleven! Love, Matt Young.
