Stoner rock metallers, MAXWELL STONE are a 4 piece outfit from rock-enmore, Sydney whose sludgy doom-like guitar riffs and bone crushing thrash beats are an antidote for the continual whine of aural pulp that is paraded as music. Self titled EP recorded at the Brain studio's has been compared to bands like Neurosis and The Mark of Cain. Forming in 2005 Their music also indicates an influence of thrash and death metal with ( ex-Leprechaun Deathstar) drummer ALBURY combining his machine gun like double kicks with the super-sludge "Electric Wizard" style drop c guitar riffing of compadrey's PPR and Captain Thomas The band also consists of vocalist/guitarist Rush whose melodic and growling vocals and narrative lyrics see the band sound somewhere between Devil Driver and Rollins, with bands such as Kyuss and Helmet influencing the mix as well. Expect feedback, change your underwear blast beats, keg bashing, shovel moments, guitar squealing, a hell of a show as Maxwell Stone set the stone
