Western Australian artist Tessa Moncrieff (aka MC The Bood) has teamed up with Leah Miche and beats wiz Andy G to create a comical hip hop act that is both witty and unique. With fresh calypso flavour, MC The Bood delivers comical deadpan tales about her own experiences and passion for fun. Fruit and vegetables work as a motif, woven into her rhymes as a world of whimsy is conjured up. Leah Miche brings her musical knowledge and sweet sounding harmonies to the table then serves them with a large slice of ‘diva’. It’s a theatrical hip hop extravaganza all wrapped up with a bunch of spicy Andy G flavour. MC The Bood is particularly interested in making the world a better place one smile at a time through her rhymes. When she is not busy perfecting her practice she enjoys taking her children and animal friends to the beach.
