‘The idea behind the band name is that... it’s just me and my friend’. Me And My Friend are an Indie Rock band based in Melbourne/ Naarm (Australia), consisting of Charlie and Ryan. In the beginning, Me And My Friend were just 2 best friends hanging out in the shed outside, having sporadic (and pretty unproductive) jamb sessions from 2017-2018. From those humble beginnings Me And My Friend have come a long way; most notably they’ve moved indoors into the backroom AND have actually created and recorded some kick ass songs. At the end of 2019 Me And My Friend embarked on recording their debut album, sculpting what became their trademark Lo-Fi Indie Rock sound. Me And My Friend’s self-titled album was released on Valentine's Day 2020 and gained a very small and cute fanbase. In 2021 they surprise released their second album 'Sex Is Cool But This Is Our Album'. A much goofier Garage-Rock album, that explored animalistic and sexual themes in a fun an humorous way.
