Meaghan Nelson bought her first guitar Christmas 2009 with the intent to write her own songs. After a year of teaching herself how to play a variety of songs from 'First Day of My Life' by Bright Eyes to The Beatles 'Blackbird', Meaghan began to write her own songs. Her song 'The Dream' was nominated in the top 25 in the 2012 Australian Songwriters Association Awards in the 'Acoustic' and 'Rock/Indie' categories. 'Especially For You', her first written song was also nominated in the 'Acoustic' category. Singing and song writing are what Meaghan loves "I just want to put my stuff out there and see what comes back"
