His debut EP Offset showcases his brand of authentic storytelling that draws on his personal experiences. Think of it as your invitation to his world of personal and creative struggle, battling vices and, through all this, his love of music shines through. But don't let the (sometimes) brash lyrics fool you, because he's not all about the bravado. This low-key emcee prefers Batman comics, Playstation and good herb over boasting about his beats. mec shies away from the social media and aggressive self-promotion that seems necessary to be heard over the internet noise that assaults our ears. He lets his music do the talking. Despite his humble approach, his first full body of work generated its own buzz through old-school word of mouth and a groundswell of local support.
