Meet The Sun met roughly 2 years ago while studying music at the Central Institute For Music Technology. After several line-up changes, the band eventually decided that they worked best together and were happiest as a 4 piece, with a single vision of what they wanted to do with their music. Brenton Lush is the anti-frontman, shredding away with his spirit fingers on lead guitar and singing from somewhere under his magical fro. Travis Delle Coste is the mad scientist, tinkering with an army of effects pedals while playing rhythym guitar and doing the occasional backing vocals. Liam Gillespie and his glorious hat bring the funk on bass and the odd synth part here and there. And Jamie Quinlan finishes up the line-up, going all Danny Carey on his drumkit and confusing people with his sample pad. After spending months perfecting this incarnation, the band are finally ready to come back out onto the stages of Perth. Get ready to Meet The Sun.
