Meg Random saw a gap in the market that needed filling. There just aren't enough girly garage surf pop punk bands around. Was that the real reason she decided to create a home studio next to her cat's litter box and spend weeks trying to fill an entire album with songs that only last one minute each? Or was it simply that she only knew 3 chords? Either way, you have to admit that the songs are pretty upbeat and catchy. Don't expect anything too serious either as the upcoming debut solo album from this lead singer of Townsville alterna-rock band Random Tangent, entitled "Home, baked" is pretty left of centre, with some of the sillier titles sure to raise a smile.
