Megan has always been a singer. Her heart lies with lyrics and how they, in combination with a melody can connect to an audience. It was a timely meeting on Rundle Street that added the Songwriter to the Singer. With her Takamine in hand, she hasn’t stopped writing since. Megan’s music bridges many genres from alternative folk and jazz, through to soul. Her songs are familiar and surprising, emotionally evocative. Her lyrics are an extension of her personality. Honest to a fault, self-reflective and grounded in good, however, a little quirkiness will always show though. 'Megan’s classical vocal training shines through on most of her numbers. Her clear, soulful vocal tones are truly extraordinary. Megan has recently released her first album ‘As Stars Come Out’ with the launch held at the Old Mill Barossa. Born of both experience and emotion this album was 10 years in the making.
