Celebrating their success and journey, these 3 unique and powerful female songwriters share their vulnerability and joy in this live-in-studio album before parting ways. Pia Nesvara (guitar / vocals) Chev Person (keys / vocals) STAV. (guitar / vocals) From FAI Folk Unlocked to the National Folk Festival (AUS) and an interstate tour, the three quickly became known for their emotive performances. Singing harmonies on each other’s songs with vibrant instrumental arrangements and subtle grooves, the album explores themes of clarity, survival, self-belief and trust. The immediate, therapeutic sense of connection and spirit in the music comes from their collaborative approach, passing the torch and holding space for each one’s story, embodying the idea that ‘we rise together’.
