Melissa Fraser -Singer/Songwriter Brisbane Hailing from Brisbane, QLD, Melissa Fraser has been gracing stages, locally and globally, for nearly 20 years. Melissa has spent a lot of that time in the back line, playing bass for artists such as Jackie Marshall, Mick Medew (The Screaming Tribesman), Sue Ray, We All Want To (Tim Steward). ‘Stay On The Road’, is Melissa’s second solo album, following ‘Crooked Purple Lines’. It is a country-oriented album, injected with the Mel Fraser ‘pop’ element. Hooks laced with delightful melodies, harmonies and complimentary instrumentation from pedal steel guitar, banjo and fiddle, make this a very palatable record for listeners of all music, young and old. Produced by Leigh Ivin in Tamworth, NSW. Stay On The Road will be launched on July 7th, 2017 at the Old Museum in Brisbane.
