Edit history

Mellofellow is a Warrnambool based Indie Bedroom Dream Pop artist with a psychedelic sound calling back to the British Invasion of the late 1960s with pinch of the heavier early 1970s and a modern psych twist. After releasing the debut guitar filled Psychedelic Rock record “Journey to the Centre of Your Mind” in late 2017, Mellofellow is back with a new more subdued and mature sound focusing more on stripped back arrangements and vintage synthesiser experimentation to achieve the groovy psychedelic experience expected from the project. His latest single “Smoking Gun” shows a more haunting, dreamier side to Mellofellow with a stripped back melodic ballad drawing comparisons to the likes of John Lennon and Brian Wilson with lush harmonies and jangly Mellotron that could have just as easily been released in 1968 as 2020.
